Quick and easy way to convert doubters to offal ...
Accompanied by a Bloody Mary for an ideal Sunday brunch!


Ingredients

Makes 2 servings

  • 2 slices of calf's liver
  • 2 slices of streaky bacon
  • 250g of button mushrooms
  • 1tbs butter
  • Half a lemon

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

1. Fry liver in hot butter on both sides quickly over a high heat. Drain and keep hot in a serving dish.

2. Fry the rashers of bacon and mushrooms in the same pan, and serve with the liver.

Sprinkle with a squeeze of lemon juice ...
