Ingredients
Makes 0 servings
- Chicken carcass (use a left over roast chicken)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- 3 carrots (broken in half)
- 1 turnip or other root vegetable
- 1 bayleaf
- 1 tbsp Salt
- Pepper (small handful of pepper corns works best)
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a large pot, fill with water. Bring water to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours. Strain the ingredients, keeping the stock in a large bowl. Transfer to plastic zip-lock bags for freezing.
