Description (Some HTML is OK)

A quick and tasty way to cheer up frozen green beans.

Ingredients

Makes 0 servings

  • about 500g frozen green beans
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • about ¼ cup of finely grated parmesan

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Add chopped tomatoes to frozen whole green beans and cook over a medium heat until the beans are almost done. Increase the heat until the liquid from the tomatoes has evaporated and the 'sauce' has thickened.
Add the parmesan, stir and serve. I usually make enough eat as a cold salad for lunch the next day.

Alter the quantities to suit your own palate.

One saucepan 'store cupboard' recipe. Reheats well in a microwave.
