Mike forked this from claire and changed it:

"If wished thicken sauce with 1 teaspoon floor mixed with a little olive oil"

Description (Some HTML is OK)

Really tasty and simple

Ingredients

Makes 2 servings

  • 2 lamb steaks
  • Sauce
  • 2 tsps redcurrant jelly
  • juice half lemon
  • half tsp english mustard
  • 2 drops worcester sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon flour mixed with enough olive oil to dissolve flour

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Put the redcurrant jelly and lemon juice in a small bowl. Mush with a fork to break up the jelly a bit. Add the remaining sauce ingredients. Fry the lamb for 6-8 mins each side, depending on thickness. When the lamb is cooked turn the heat right down and add a splash of water (2 tbsps). Add the sauce to the pan and heat gently for a further minute.
