Description (Some HTML is OK)

This recipe relies on you having a bread machine with a dough setting! Makes extremely tasty naan bread, although not quite like you get in British curry houses.

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • ½ tsp dried yeast
  • 250g Strong white flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground nut oil
  • 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 100ml water

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Put all of the ingredients into the pan of your bread machine and use the dough setting (if you have more than one dough setting, use the same one as recommended to make a standard white bread).

Divide the resulting dough into 4 balls and roll each into an oval. Place on a floured baking sheet in the hottest oven you can muster for between 3 and 8 minutes, depending on how hot your oven goes. When they puff up and get a slight golden tinge, they're done.
