Ingredients
Makes 20 servings
- 125g butter
- 55g sugar
- 180g plain flour
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.
2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
3. Add the flour and mix until the mixture achieves a dough-like consistency.
4. Roll out on a floured surface until about 1/2 cm thick.
5. Cut into required shape (rounds, fingers, fantails).
6. Place on a greased baking tray and cook until pale golden brown (about 15 - 20 mins).
7. Dust with icing sugar or with caster sugar if required.
