If you don't have time to make your own meat balls this is a great alternative for something quick.


Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • 1 package of 6 spicy italian sausage (lean, pork)
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Open the end of the casing of one of the sausages. With your fingers pull out enough pork mixture to make a small ball. Place on plate. Continue making meat balls from the rest of the sausages.

Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a frying pan. When the pan is hot add in the meat balls and fry them until they start to brown. Once browned remove from heat and add to your favourite tomato sauce to finish cooking.
