Excellent hangover-curing breakfast.
Ingredients
Makes 0 servings
- For biscuits
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅓ cup oil
- ⅔ cup soy milk
- For gravy
- 6 tbsp margarine
- ½ cup nutritional yeast
- ½ cup flour
- 3 cup hot water
- black pepper
- garlic salt or powder
Preparation
For biscuits:
Mix all dry ingredients, then add oil and soy milk and stir until smooth. Spoon biscuits out onto a greased baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes at 450F, until lightly browned.
For gravy:
Heat margarine in a pot over medium heat, then add flour and nutritional yeast. Stir quickly to form a smooth mixture, then add water 1/2 cup at a time, whisking constantly to reduce lumps. Add garlic powder and pepper to taste
