Stracciatella alla Romana
by
Dylan
Essentially the italian version of "egg-drop" soup, this recipe was shared with me by a close friend who's italian roots run VERY deep. The key is the way the egg is dropped into the hot broth.

One of my favourites. Originally blogged about here. Most (Mainly US) recipes call for removing the clam meat from the shells, or using cans of clams. I should think they’ll be even harder to find than fresh-frozen ones in the UK. personally I love sucking the shells clean! Don't put parmesan on it...

Buffalo risotto

This southern s...

Delicious de-boned stuffed Pigs Trotter with home made tomato sauce ... *the whole pigs trotter is not for the faint hearted as it looks a little like a human arm when raw ... but fun to cook and even better to eat! We bought our Pigs Trotter from: KC Continental Stores on Caledonian Road near King...

Normandy Potatoes
by
Mat
Tasty. This is quite a rich accompaniment, particularly if you reduce the stock & cream right down. Mum gave me this one which she's frequently used from an Italian (because there's a Normandy in Italy?) cooking book. I struggle to find something to serve this with, not that it's not tasty at all...
