Fiorentina pizza (1) by claire

This is pizza as authentic as I can make it. Proper dough (made in a bread machine or kneaded by hand), garlicky tomato sauce and for the fiorentina bit: spinach and an egg cracked over the pizza just before going in the oven. This makes 4 individual pizzas (about 8" each)

Picnic plait (2) by claire

I was quite proud of this: it looks really fancy. Made it for a hangover and we ate it warm. A bit like pizza in a plait. But I believe its supposed to be eaten cold while out on a fancy picnic. (you do need a bread maker)

Lahmajoon (Armenian Pizza) (1) by iamseitan

This is my vegetarian take on Armenian Pizza. I've been told the crust needs to be thinner than mine so you can fold it in half and eat it like a sandwich.

Not so much a recipe this - it being more about the method, though the dough and the tomato sauce are worth a go. I was trying to work out how to get the ridiculously high temperature of a pizza oven (450C+!!) at home and saw Heston Blumenthal doing something similar on the telly so thought I'd exp...
