Bulgar Wheat Pilaf
(1)
by
Hawthorne
This bulgar wheat pilaf makes a nice change from rice, couscous or mashed potatoes with saucy dishes such as stews (especially stifado). It's also a great comfort food - I can happily snuggle down and eat a bowl full of this on a cold, dreary day.

Alana's Three Bean Salad
by
trailbound
A bean salad that is easy to make and makes a great side dish. The green beans give the salad a great fresh taste! The spices add a nice zing. Increase the jalapeño and spices for added kick.

Okra is a fantastic and often overlooked vegetable. Cooked right (like this recipe) it's tremendously tasty and a real treat. A lovely side dish for any meal.
