I've been cooking for a good few years now, but am by no means an expert. I've got a few core dishes I do well, but I'm always looking to try new things and combine foods in new and interesting ways (with differing degrees of success!). I also have a fondness for "real" food, concentrating on the way things taste, rather than how they look/are presented/how rare and expensive the ingredients are.
