Description (Some HTML is OK)

Great winter warmer. Remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Adapted from a Quaker Oats recipe.

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • 2 ½ cups of water
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ⅔ cup Dried apricots (chopped)
  • ⅓ cup of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 cups of oats

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Put water, apricots, cinnamon and honey into a pot and bring to the boil. Stir in the oats and return to a boil. Reduce heat and cook until the liquid is absorbed into the oats (time will depend on what type of oats you use). Remove from heat and let the mixture sit until the desired consistency is reached.
