Description (Some HTML is OK)

Rich gooey and very very chocolatey! They always go down a treat at work which is good because otherwise I'd be the size of a house.

Ingredients

Makes 20 servings

  • 275 g plain chocolate
  • 125 g butter (or margarine but butter's better!)
  • 325 g caster sugar
  • 175 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 85 g milk chocolate cut into small chunks (or chocolate chips)
  • 85 g white chocolate cut into small chunks (or chips)
  • 4 large eggs

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Place the plain chocolate and butter in a bowl and melt together over a pan of boiling water (you can probably do this in a microwave if so inclined). Once this is melted add the sugar and mix well. Lightly beat the eggs with the vanilla essence and add it to the chocolate mixture. Mix in well. Sift the flour and baking powder and add this to your mix and stir in. Finally add the chocolate chunks (or chips).

Grease and line a baking tin (30cm x 20cm x 3.5cm) and add your mixture. Cook in an oven preheated to 170 C (gas mark 3) for 20 - 25 minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy.
