Description (Some HTML is OK)

You need a sweet tooth for this pudding, which could double as a tea-time offering, especially if there are children around. Keep the biscuits all roughly the same - plain or sweet.

Ingredients

Makes 0 servings

  • 8 oz. broken biscuits
  • 8 oz. plain chocolate
  • 1 Tbs. each currants and sultanas
  • 4 oz. butter
  • 2 Tbs. golden syrup
  • 2 Tbs. cocoa
  • 1 heaped Tbs. sugar

Preparation (Some HTML is OK)

Melt all the ingredients, except the dried fruit, chocolate and biscuits, in a pan. Remove from heat. Add 1 heaped Tbs. currants and sultanas. Mix in the crumbled biscuits. Stir it all up well together. Pat the mixture down firmly into a flat shallow tin - flan tin perhaps. Pour 8 oz. melted plain chocolate over the top. Leave to cool. Cut into squares.
